Do you have more than one script installed at same location ? You may have installed one script in main directory and another in a sub-directory. Are you using mod_rewrite rule and condition for the script which is installed in root directory, in this situation you can not access the another script which is installed in sub-directory.

Usually we are suppose to change the settings of php.ini file for getting some features of script to work. For example we have to make ‘rewrite’ mode ‘on’ in php.ini to getting permalink worked, But most of us have a sheared hosting account and we could not access php.ini file.
